The RV technician job opening is located at 31 Booth St, Oro-Medonte, ON with Bella Vista RV Centre Inc, a subsidiary company of Leisure Days RV Group.

**Position Overview**

As a RV Technician you will be performing pre-delivery inspections, accurately diagnosing, and repairing a variety of technical issues, inspecting, and adjusting, or overhaul recreational vehicles and travel trailers.

You will be responsible for maintaining a clean work environment, participating in training, assisting co-workers, completing jobs with efficiency and other tasks as required.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
- Maintain and repair recreational vehicle operations including water, propane, structure, undercarriage, appliance, and electrical systems.
- Read work orders and execute requests as accurately and efficiently as possible.
- Complete required paperwork and provide service advisors with updates on the progress.
- Use computerized and electronic devices for testing components.
- Performing pre-delivery inspections
- Reading and writing repair orders
- Troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance on propane gas and electric appliances such as furnaces, refrigerators, water heaters, ranges, and air conditioners; repairs to fiberglass, body, and structural components; and the ability
- Install, repair, replace, accessories, maintain roofs, siding, windows, doors, vents, awnings, floor coverings, cabinets, counters, plumbing systems, electrical systems, propane gas systems, batteries, and charging systems
- Examine/troubleshoot and diagnose units needing repair and maintenance
- Discuss repairs and communicate additional requests with the shop foreman and RV service advisor
- Provide plan work procedures and labor time estimates to the RV service advisor and shop foreman
- Install/repair and maintain interior and exterior components on motorhomes, travel trailers, and fifth wheel trailers such as roof, siding, windows, doors, awnings, vents, floor cabinets, counters, plumbing systems, electrical systems, propane gas systems, batteries and charging systems, body, and structural components.
- Installation of accessories, perform pre-delivery inspections, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance on propane gas and electric appliances - furnace, refrigerator, water heaters, and A/C units.
- Installation of hitches - including fifth wheel, and wiring of tow vehicles
- Use of testing equipment / troubleshooting techniques / manufacturers specs and internet websites
- Monitor repair time and update RV service advisor regularly.
- Maintain strict adherence to dealership policies on RV care and operation.
- Complete story and/or documentation for client repairs
- Assist in mentoring RV technician trainees (if required)
- Attend company and factory training, and keep current with factory technical bulletins
- Understand and follow federal, provincial, and local regulations (such as disposal of hazardous waste)

**Qualifications and Skill Set Requirements**
- Minimum 5 years automotive experience or 2-4 years RV dealership experience
- Licensed Journeyman or RV Technician (RV1 or RV2) are required.
- Minimum 1 - 2 years propane and appliances highly preferred
- Red Seal Certifications is a definite asset.
- Desired and highly considered work experience: wood working, fiberglass repairs - basic body repairs, wheel bearing repacks, roof resealing, plumbing skills.
- Able to work independently and as a team.
