**IT Support Specialist**

Do you enjoy doing hands-on IT work in addition to helping users? Our client is seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join their busy team. The incumbent is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities and coordinating with the team on support items.

**Responsibilities**:

- Track, respond to and follow up on user reported IT issues
- Manage IT services outsourced arrangements
- Assist in drafting and implementing policies and procedures
- Carry out reviews to ensure compliance with IT policies
- Identify areas where policies are missing or require updating
- Track life cycle of IT assets to make recommendations for upgrades and replacements
- Support initiatives to acquire, enhance, upgrade and/or replace IT infrastructure, including workstations, printers, servers, wireless and wired networks, and phone systems
- _

**Qualifications**:

- College or Technical School diploma
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with business users
- Good understanding of the Microsoft Office Suite of products, including experience with SharePoint and OneDrive
- Ability to quickly learn about infrastructure such as printers, servers, telecommunication networks and phone systems
- Experience with both Mac and Windows operating systems
- Experience in financial services environment would be an asset
- Familiarity with Crystal Reports would be an asset
