**ASSISTED LIVING SUPERVISOR**

**The Role**

Reporting to the Client Services Manager-Assisted Living, you will provide leadership, supervision, and coordination to ensure effective and safe delivery of personal support, homemaking services and developing chronic disease management programming to clients. You will also complete client assessment and develop care plans and monitor clients’ needs.

Full-time position, 35 hours per week

Monday to Friday with rotational on call duties

Occasional work outside of business hours to attend organization-related functions and flexibility for support during extraordinary and/or emergency situations.

**What you bring to the role**:

- Degree or diploma in Social Services, Gerontology, RPN or related field.
- Excellent skills in risk, crisis and conflict management combined with strong customer service skills.
- Understanding of the Assisted Living Services for High-Risk Seniors Policy.
- Knowledge of seniors’ care and issues associated with aging and diversity.
- Experience within a community setting.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, exceptional organizational, communication and interpersonal skills to build high performance teams.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle required.
- Experience in the non-profit sector would be considered desirable.
- Experience working with the Residential Assessment Instrument Community Home Assessment tool (RAI CHA) an asset.
- Current CPR/first aid certification, an asset
- Fluency in other language(s) will be considered an asset.
