**Overview**:
First started in 1956 in Wainwright, Alberta, Fountain Tire expertly combines key factors such as experienced owners, licensed automotive technicians, and quality products to form a company driven to serve. Today, we have over 150 stores spanning as far west as Victoria, British Columbia and as far east as Vaughan, Ontario.

**Wage: $15/hr to $18/hr (Wage depending on experience)**

**Your duties will include**:
As a
**Tire Technician**, each day will bring new opportunities, but you will always be involved in:

- Installing, balancing, and rotating commercial and automotive tires in store
- Repairing commercial and automotive tires in a safe and efficient manner
- Inspecting tires and wheels for correct inflation, wear patters, tread depth, etc
- Resetting and repair tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS)
- Ensuring all equipment, tools and supplies are returned in good working condition to proper location
- Operating company and customer vehicles in a clean and safe manner
- Providing accurate and professional customer service
- Maintaining tire service equipment
- Understanding and adhering to safe operation of all equipment

**What you need**:

- A valid driver’s license and a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract
- A customer-service focus with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships
- Proven ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to consistently lift large, heave (50-75 lbs.) objects

**What would be a plus**:

- One year of tire-related experience
- Working knowledge of passenger and/or light truck tires.
