**Design Technologist + Site + Logistics Lead**

**Role Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Create and revise CAD or SketchUp drawings and layout plans
- Prepare permit documents and design spec packages
- Track orders, coordinate & manage deliveries, contractors, and on-site installations
- Communicate with suppliers, trades, and clients
- Support field measurements, site coordination, deficiencies, warranties, and trade schedules
- Prepare and update scopes of work, install plans, and site reports
- Maintain technical files and organize project folders
- Project management/coordination
- Liaise with designers to ensure seamless handoff to site

**Skills & Background**:

- 5+ years experience in design-build, construction, or renovations
- Experience with CAD, SketchUp/Layout, Buildertrend (or similar), and project management software
- Ability to create technical drawings & specification packages, understand construction sequencing, and troubleshoot details
- Comfortable on job sites and in client-facing coordination roles

**Responsibilities**
- Assist in the preparation and review of project estimates using construction estimating tools.
- Coordinate project scope, schedules, and timelines, ensuring all deadlines are met through effective time management.
- Utilize AutoCAD for design and drafting tasks, contributing to the development of project packages.
- Manage documentation related to projects, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Collaborate with the design team and stakeholders to track progress, address issues, and implement solutions as needed.
- Support the construction team by providing necessary schematics and blueprints for reference during project execution.
- Maintain organized records of all project-related communications, changes, and updates for future reference.

**Requirements**:

- Proficiency in AutoCAD and experience with construction estimating software.
- Strong understanding of project management principles and practices within the construction industry.
- Familiarity with construction management software.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to create blueprints and schematics accurately.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
- Previous experience in a technical coordinator or similar role within the construction field is advantageous but not mandatory.

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (required)

**Experience**:

- AutoCAD: 5 years (required)
- Project management: 2 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)
