Mommy's Kids Childcare Centre is growing and we're looking for energetic and experienced individuals who can work with children.

**Job Qualifications**:

- Level 1, 2 or 3 Alberta Early Childhood Educator Certification
- Current Standard First Aid Training
- Current Police Check with Vulnerable Sector Search
- Completed Early Learning and Childcare Education
- Previous experience with infants and toddlers
- Knowledge of Flight Curriculum Framework
- Class 4 Driving License is an asset

**Job Requirements**:

- Develop and implement a program that supports the development of children.
- Maintain an environment that protects the well-being of children and reflects their needs and interests.
- Ability to maintain an aesthetically pleasing, clean, safe, and sanitary classroom.
- Ability to work outdoors. This job requires educators to be outdoors for play in all types of weather and may include walking children to and from school.
- Punctuality and reliability to meet all scheduled shifts and meetings.
- Ability to adapt and respond to changing conditions, shift schedules and priorities with a positive attitude.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and enjoy working as part of a team.
- Assess the abilities, interests, and needs of children and discuss progress with parents and other staff.
- Establish collaborative relationships with co-workers, management, and families.
- Attend staff meetings and professional development opportunities as necessary.
- Ability to lift at least 25lbs
- Ability to use computer software as we use TimeSavr in creating daily reports.

**Compensation**:

- $17 - $20/hr plus wage top-up
- Salary commensurate to experience

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
