Surrey, Canada Altius Health & Performance Full time

Provision Athletics and Altius Health & Performance are hiring a part-time Kinesiologist / Strength and Conditioning Specialist to lead large group, small group and one-on-one training sessions with a focus on youth athletic development. This role designs and delivers evidence-based training, runs performance testing and screening, documents results, and supports athlete return-to-play programs and private rehabilitation work.

**Key responsibilities**
- Design and deliver group training programs for youth baseball athletes aged 11U-18U.
- Lead one-on-one and small-group sessions for performance development and rehabilitation.
- Plan and run pre-season, in-season, post-season, and off-season programs and camps.
- Perform baseline and diagnostic performance testing, movement screens, and ongoing monitoring; track and document results through client and athlete monitoring systems.
- Coordinate care with medical staff, directors, and skills coaches.
- Maintain accurate athlete records, program plans, and testing reports.
- Possibility of providing private rehabilitation services, including WorkSafeBC and ICBC claim work, when appropriate.

**Required qualifications**
- Registered and in good standing with the British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists (BCAK).
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Familiarity with the Long Term Development model for youth athlete progression.
- Eligible to work in Canada with no work permit sponsorship provided.
- Comfortable working Monday-Friday 3:00-8:00 PM, with some weekend availability.
- Willingness to travel between Provision Athletics (primary location) and Altius Health & Performance locations
- New graduates encouraged to apply.

**Preferred qualifications and assets**
- CSCS certification from the NSCA.
- College or university-level athletic experience.
- Experience with performance technology such as force plates, dynamometers, timing gates, or similar systems.
- Experience providing WorkSafeBC or ICBC claim services.
- Prior experience running youth group programs and camps.

**Schedule location and employment type**
- Part-time role.
- Primary location: Provision Athletics
- Typical hours: Monday-Friday 3:00-8:00 PM plus some Saturdays and Sundays for sessions and camps.
- Some travel between sites may be required; travel is not compensated.

**Compensation benefits and resources**
- Hourly rate $40-$60 per hour, dependent on experience.

- Use of Jane practice management and athlete monitoring software.
- Opportunities for professional development and exposure to high-performance testing.

**Reporting performance review and legal**
- Reports to the Director of Operations and the Director of Performance.
- Three-month probationary period followed by regular performance reviews.
