**Summary**

**Seasonal Responsibilities**:
**Spring, Summer, Fall - Landscape Construction & Facility Maintenance**:

- Lead and participate in landscape construction projects such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, grading, and planting
- Oversee seasonal property maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, edging, and general grounds upkeep
- Assign tasks and supervise the work of 1-2 crew members, ensuring quality and efficiency
- Operate and haul equipment including trucks with trailers, skid steers, mini excavators, and other machinery
- Maintain work sites and equipment in a clean, organized, and safe manner
- Identify maintenance needs and carry out repairs without needing constant supervision
- Ensure projects are completed with a high degree of precision and care

**Winter - Snow Removal & Shop Work**:

- Manage snow clearing operations for the facilities, including laneways, entrances, and walkways
- Coordinate snow events and equipment readiness with the Maintenance Manager
- Assist with facility and greenhouse projects in the off-season, including**:Carpentry work** (framing, minor repairs, shelving, etc.)**, Welding and fabrication, Painting, refinishing, and general repairs**, and other hands-on projects to improve and maintain infrastructure

**Key Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in landscape construction, facility/property maintenance, and leading a small team
- Carpentry skills and general construction experience are required
- Welding, painting, or fabrication experience is a strong asset
- Capable of operating and transporting equipment (truck & trailer, skid steer, mini excavator, etc.)
- Self-driven, solution-oriented, and able to manage projects from start to finish with mínimal supervision
- Highly organized and clean working style—takes pride in maintaining tidy work areas and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Valid G-class driver’s license required (clean driving record preferred)
- Mechanically inclined; comfortable with tools, small repairs, and preventative maintenance
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
