**Position Overview**

We are seeking an **experienced Project Manager - IT Finance** to lead and coordinate **Finance IT Regulatory Projects** within the organization’s **Finance IT Project Management Team**.

This role involves managing complex finance and regulatory technology initiatives—ensuring delivery within approved scope, budget, and timelines—while partnering closely with **Finance**, **Accounting**, and **IT stakeholders** to drive business value and compliance outcomes.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Plan, direct, and coordinate end-to-end project activities across **Finance IT regulatory programs**.
- Lead the **execution of multiple concurrent projects**, balancing competing demands and priorities.
- Manage project **scope, schedule, budget, risks, and dependencies** using fact-based metrics and reporting.
- Work closely with **Business and Technology Owners** to ensure deliverables meet strategic business outcomes.
- Oversee projects related to **Accounting Sub-Ledger**, financial reporting, and related IT systems.
- Prepare and present **status reports, risk assessments, and change requests** to senior stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with **governance frameworks, risk controls, and regulatory requirements**.
- Drive stakeholder communication and alignment across Finance, IT, and Change Management teams.
- Utilize both **Waterfall and Agile methodologies** effectively within project delivery cycles.
- Support **continuous improvement** initiatives and contribute to best practices within the PMO.

**Required Skills & Experience**
- **8-10 years** of experience in **IT Project Management**, preferably within **Finance or BFSI sectors**.
- Proven experience managing **Finance IT or Regulatory projects** involving accounting, sub-ledger, or reporting systems.
- Advanced knowledge of **project planning, scheduling methodologies, budgeting, and financial tracking**.
- Strong expertise in **risk and issue management**, **change control**, and **stakeholder communication**.
- Working knowledge of **Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)** and **Agile delivery methodologies**.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority.

**Certifications**
- **PMP**, **Prince2**, or equivalent **Project Management certification** required.
- **CSM (Certified Scrum Master)** or other **Agile certification** preferred.

**Education**
- **Bachelor’s degree** in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline (Master’s degree an asset).

Pay: $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

**Experience**:

- IT Project Management in BFSI Sector: 8 years (required)
