The **NDT Technician Trainee** will be trained in general ultrasonic theory and STELIA North America general and program specific techniques/procedures to achieve NDT level 1 and NDT level 2 certification IAW QCI-011-01.
**In this role you will**:
- Understand Clean room and Lectra room operations
- Basic Lay-up process
- Basic blueprint and Catia/Enovia 3D Model reading
- Interpret and understand customer specific specifications (processes, inspection requirements, etc.)
- Internal Quality Control systems and control of product (travelers).
- Good working knowledge of NDT equipment and computer systems used at Stelia North America. (A-Scan, C-Scan and Phased-Array systems; manual and automated)
- Participate in NDT training Formal and on-the-job training to achieve NDT level 1 or 2
- Minimum 40 hours classroom training in accordance with NAS 410 and QCI-011-01
- Specific NDT program training for Boeing, ATR, Westland, and Northrop Grumman etc.
- Be Fluent in use of Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Access, PowerApps, etc.)
**You have**:
- Education: Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Technical post-secondary education preferred
- Pass eyesight and hearing requirements per NAS 410 and QCI-011-01
- Experience with 3D CAD systems would be an asset (3D Modeling, 3D Printing, CNC, etc.)
