Shipper/receiver/forklift Operator

**Job Summary**:
The Shipping, Receiving, and Warehouse Coordinator ensures the efficient and accurate movement of goods in and out of CCC Packaging's warehouse. This role requires a high degree of organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. The coordinator will oversee shipping and receiving operations, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure compliance with safety and company standards.

**Key Responsibilities:Shipping and Receiving**
- Oversee daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
- Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damages; document and report discrepancies.
- Prepare shipments by picking, packing, and labeling products according to customer specifications.
- Coordinate with carriers and drivers for pickups and deliveries, ensuring adherence to schedules.
- Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records in the system.

**Inventory Management**
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels; conduct regular cycle counts and audits.
- Update inventory records in ERP or warehouse management systems.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of products, adhering to FIFO/FEFO practices.

**Warehouse Operations**
- Coordinate warehouse team activities to meet daily productivity goals.
- Organize and maintain a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse layout.
- Operate and maintain warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Implement and enforce safety guidelines and protocols.

**Communication and Coordination**
- Liaise with internal departments (e.g., purchasing, production, and customer service) to ensure seamless workflow.
- Provide updates on shipment statuses and inventory levels to stakeholders.
- Train and mentor warehouse staff on best practices and operational procedures.

**Qualifications:Required Skills & Experience**:

- Proven experience in shipping, receiving, and/or warehouse coordination.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control principles and logistics processes.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain certification).

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience in packaging or a related industry is a plus.
- Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs.

- Adherence to safety protocols, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
