Your mission is to prepare and serve beverages while providing excellent customer service and ensuring compliance with alcohol laws and regulations. As a bartender, your responsibilities include:

- Greeting customers;
- Taking drink orders from table servers or directly from customers;
- Mixing alcohol, non-alcoholic beverages, water, juices, and other ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks;
- Making mixed drinks, wine, draft or bottled beer, and non-alcoholic beverages for food and beverage servers or serving them directly to customers;
- Recording payments and beverage sales;
- Maintaining and controlling inventory and ordering alcoholic beverages and supplies;
- Cleaning counters and washing glasses;
- Checking the legal age of customers to avoid serving those who are not authorized to drink alcohol;
- Ensuring compliance with provincial and territorial alcohol laws and regulations;
- Handling billing and cash transactions;
- Training and supervising other bartenders and bar staff, if necessary.

**Salary**: The salary is $23.26/hour and comes with benefits and preferential rates in all hotels owned by the Tidan Group.

**Required profile**:

- Interpersonal skills;
- Strong sense of service and customer satisfaction;
- Exemplary professional behavior and attitude such as autonomy, discretion, organization, creativity, etc.;
- A degree in bartending or mixology;
- Expertise in beverages and bar equipment;
- Excellent knowledge of wine;
- Providing superior quality service to our clientele, in accordance with quality standards;
- Ability to lead and supervise a team of workers;
- Mastery of billing software (Micros);
- Billing and cash transactions.

**Required experience**:

- At least three (3) years of experience as a bartender or mixologist;
- Similar experience on a terrace with high capacity for at least one (1) season.

**Education**:

- A degree in bartending or mixology.

**Languages**:

- Bilingualism (French and English) is required for this position as we serve an international clientele.

**Availability**:

- Weekdays and weekends.
