**Join Our Team as a Full-Time Maintenance Technician Electrician in Surrey, BC**

**Your Mission**:
Are you ready to power up your career in a fast-growing, environmentally-focused company? As a Maintenance Technician (Electrician), your mission is to ensure the smooth operation and reliability of our electrical plant equipment. You’ll work closely with the maintenance team to diagnose, repair, and install electrical systems, contributing to the overall operational efficiency of our facility. Your role is crucial in ensuring that our plant remains safe, compliant with all relevant codes, and fully functional, allowing us to continue our work in making a positive environmental impact.

**Here’s what an ordinary day of work might look like**:

- **Diagnose & Repair**:Quickly address electrical breakdowns, including emergencies, ensuring safety and code compliance.
- **Preventative Maintenance**:Perform routine equipment inspections to keep our plant running smoothly.
- **Documentation & Feedback**:Keep accurate records of tasks and provide insights on electrical systems.
- **Project Support**:Assist with plant upgrades, installations, and electrical connections.
- **Safety & Compliance**:Uphold safety protocols and ensure adherence to all codes and regulations.
- **Collaboration**:Work closely with teams and contractors to ensure seamless operations.
- **Flexibility**:Be ready for unscheduled work, including planned maintenance shutdowns.

**This job is for you if**:

- Hold a **Red Seal Electrician certification** with 2+ years of industrial experience.
- Are skilled with **PLCs, HMIs, VFDs,** and electrical systems.
- Have a knack for **troubleshooting** and can interpret electrical schematics with ease.
- Prioritize safety and are familiar with **lockout/tagout** procedures.
- Are detail-oriented, proactive, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Value continuous learning and are open to feedback for improvement.
- Hold a valid Driver's License.
