SUMMARY

**About the Role - Valet Attendant**

As a Valet Attendant, you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the driveway in close collaboration with the door attendant, bell attendant and front desk agent. You will be responsible for providing Hotel Guests and Residents with quality, safe, fast valet service. You will be assisting guests entering and leaving the hotel by car, whilst providing an excellent and consistent level of service to our customers in accordance with Hyatt International’s brand standards. You will be an integral part of the day-to-day operations and supporting the team to achieve our purpose.
Some of the responsibilities include:

- Meet and greet all guests arriving and departing the hotel in a friendly and helpful manner
- Parking and retrieving valet vehicles for the Hotel Guests and Residents
- Use iPhone to complete valet registration and for retrieval requests
- Provide directions and be familiar with Toronto and its surroundings
- Ensuring the driveway, door and main entrances are always kept clean and tidy
- Opening doors for all guests
- Liaise with team members to ensure smooth day to day operation
- Cover breaks of Door and Bell Attendant
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- Full G driver’s license with the ability to operate both manual and automatic vehicles is mandatory for this position.
- Clean driver’s abstract must be provided by applicant upon selection
- The flexibility to work on a rotating 24/7 roster, including public holidays
- Previous work experience in a similar fast-paced hotel operations environment
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task
- Superior customer service skills along with excellent service resolution skills
- The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- The ability to under work under pressure and possess a great attention to detail
- Ability to create a positive first impression with an understanding of the importance of 5 star grooming standards
