**DETAILS**
- ** Type**: Full-time (6-month contract) - opportunity for full time employment
- **Salary**: $27.65/hour (negotiable based on experience)
- **Schedule**: Monday to Friday, with 9-hour shifts Mon-Thurs (7am-4:30pm) and half-day Fridays (7am-12pm)
- **Locations**: Manufacturing at 5185 Dolman Ridge Rd, Orleans; installations at 22 Gurdwara Rd, Ottawa, and 812 Burton Rd, Vars

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

We are currently searching for fun and motivated individuals to join our manufacturing shop. If you enjoy hands-on work and being part of a team that values you, we want to hear from you

**Position**:
Full-Time (6-month contract) shop position, including but not limited to manufacturing, installation, and testing of STC/RF shielded products. Full training will be provided

**Responsibilities**:

- Assemble, glue, and cut STC/RF panels
- Cut framing materials
- Paint, solder, and occasionally weld (stick)
- Manufacture and assemble STC/RF material and complex items
- Perform STC/RF testing
- Conduct on-site installations at REMC West
- Read manufacturing drawings, installation diagrams, and schematics
- General shop and workstation cleanup
- Transport STC/RF items between Dolman and Gurdwara facilities

**Assets**:

- 5-10 years of hand/power tool experience
- 5-10 years of manufacturing or metal fabrication experience
- Background in trades or construction sites (5-10 years preferred)
- 5-10 years Soldering/welding experience
- A/Z driver’s license, forklift license, WHMIS, and Health & Safety awareness training are assets
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a unique industry

**Requirements**:

- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record
- Basic security clearance
- Integrity, adaptability, and teamwork skills

**Experience**:

- Manufacturing, metal fabrication, assembly, soldering/welding (5-10 years preferred)
