**Overview**:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Recovery Residential Support Worker to provide support to individuals in recovery within a residential setting. This role involves facilitating recovery-focused programs, ensuring a safe and supportive environment, and promoting independence among residents.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- **Emotional Support**: Provide guidance and emotional support to residents in recovery.
- **Program Development**: Develop and implement Art Therapy and Addiction Groups.
- **Group Facilitation**: Lead daily House Groups to foster community and support.
- **Healthcare Connection**: Connect residents with necessary healthcare services.
- **Progress Monitoring**: Track and report on resident progress regularly.
- **Environment Maintenance**: Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive living environment.
- **Team Collaboration**: Work with multidisciplinary teams to enhance resident care.
- **Crisis Management**: Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
- **Documentation**: Accurately document resident interactions and progress.
- **Confidentiality**: Uphold confidentiality and maintain professional boundaries.

**Resident Support**:

- Encourage self-care and recovery skills among residents.
- Assist residents in setting and achieving personal goals.
- Foster independence and self-advocacy in daily living.
- Provide guidance on essential daily living skills.
- Assist residents with medication management.

**Household Management**:

- Ensure a clean and organized living environment.
- Oversee household chores and responsibilities.
- Manage the household budget and supplies.
- Coordinate meal planning and preparation.
- Prepare meals for residents.

**Administrative Tasks**:

- Maintain accurate records and reports of resident interactions.
- Complete incident reports as necessary.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
- Communicate effectively with management and other staff members.

**Professional Development**:

- Attend relevant training and workshops to enhance skills.
- Stay updated on best practices in recovery support.

**Additional Duties**:

- Transport residents to appointments and activities, including the gym.
- Assist with resident intake and orientation processes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with house expectations among guests.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience working with individuals in recovery.
- Certification in addiction counseling or peer support preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
- Lived experience in recovery is an asset.

**Working Conditions**:

- Work in a residential setting.
- Shifts are 12 hours in duration.
- Potential exposure to challenging behaviors.

**Confidentiality and Boundaries**:

- Maintain resident confidentiality at all times.
- Establish and uphold professional boundaries in all interactions.

**Accountability**:

- Accountable to the House Coordinator.
- Ensure compliance with all organizational policies and procedures

**Physical and Emotional Demands**:

- Must demonstrate emotional stability and resilience.
- Ability to manage stressful situations effectively.
- Engage in daily physical activity, including gym participation.
- Participate in household chores as needed.

**Requirements**:

- Valid Driver's License.
- Clean driver’s abstract.
- Vulnerable Sector Check.
- CPR Certification or willingness to obtain

Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 42 per week
