Kidz in the Rockies is seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Educator to join our team.
- **Curriculum Planning and Implementation**:

- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards and the developmental needs of young children.
- Integrate play, interactive activities, and hands-on learning experiences to stimulate cognitive, emotional, and physical development.
- **Child Supervision and Safety**:

- Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive learning environment.
- Supervise children during activities to ensure their safety and well-being, following established safety guidelines and emergency procedures.
- **Observation and Assessment**:

- Monitor and document children's progress, behavior, and development.
- Conduct assessments to identify individual learning needs and tailor activities accordingly.
- Communicate observations and assessments to parents and caregivers during meetings or written reports.
- **Social and Emotional Support**:

- Foster a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere that promotes trust, respect, and positive self-esteem.
- Support children in developing social skills, conflict resolution, and emotional self-regulation.
- **Collaboration and Communication**:

- Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to provide updates on children’s progress and address any concerns.
- **Professional Development**:

- Stay current with best practices in early childhood education by attending workshops, training sessions, and professional development courses.
- Implement new strategies and tools to enhance the teaching and learning experience.

**Qualifications**:

- Level 1 in Early Childhood Education.
- Valid First Aid certification.
- Current Criminal Record Check.

**Hours of Work**:

- Monday to Friday, 12:00 - 6:00 PM.
- Full time February (9:00-6:00)
- No weekends.

**How to Apply**:
**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
