The Advanced Architecture Development Group (AADG) is a CPU Core development team primarily located out of Portland, Oregon. We believe that developing these technologies takes a team of exceptionally talented individuals who work together to visualize, innovate, and make the future of computing possible. The job of the Graduate Intern will be to advance the state of the art in processor microarchitecture, architecture. Responsibilities will be technical in nature and include working with a detailed CPU performance simulator. Job assignments are usually for the summer or for short periods during breaks from school.

**Qualifications**:
Minimum Qualifications

Must be pursuing master's or PhD in Computer Architecture or any STEM degree

1+ months of experience or knowledge of processor microarchitecture

Preferred Qualifications:
Processor pipelines, advanced branch prediction, prefetching, register renaming etc.

C++, python programming knowledge or experience is a plus.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in Canada:CAD 61,000.00-CAD 126,000.00

Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience

**Working Model**:
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
**In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.**
