**Diggin’ It Excavating** on Salt Spring Island, BC is looking for a new addition to our team of machine operators and general labourers. In business since 1998, we are a busy, full-service excavation company offering services in, septic system installation, landscaping, driveway construction and maintenance, trenching and underground utility installation, demolition, waste disposal, residential, finishing work and trucking.

We are looking for enthusiastic, hard working, self-motivated team members with a strong work ethic, the ability to communicate clearly, and to follow instructions. There is room for on the job experience and apprenticeship.

**Responsibilities**:

- General labour associated with excavating, including digging, raking and transferring of materials.
- Keeping tools, vehicles and machines clean and in excellent working order.
- Work with team members and follow directions to ensure a positive and efficient work environment.

**Requirements**:

- Experience in construction and/or earthwork preferred
- Valid Class 5 Driving License and clean abstract
- Experience using and maintaining various tools/machines preferred
- Willing to relocate to Saltspring Island, B.C. Canada

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
