We are looking for a General Labourer at our Walker Grease Trap Services - New Westminster location.

**Position Summary**

Our Labourers are responsible for performing customer service as it relates to the collection and cleaning of grease trap equipment. You may work as part of a duo visiting customer sites and performing the necessary work or be responsible for overseeing the daily tasks and functions of maintaining an efficient process in regards to the plant’s waste management system and fleet upkeep.

This is a unionized hourly position with various early morning and afternoon shift options with an expectation of 40 hour work weeks (overtime after 40 hours).

Starting Rate: $120.16/hr with two annual increases per year over the first 4 years

**Major (Primary) Responsibilities**:

- Working as part of a duo visiting customer sites and performing the assigned work
- Familiarity with process of Grease Trap collection, storage and transport
- Adhere at all times to superior safety culture
- Understanding of all health, safety, environmental and legislation at it applies to day to day activities, or knowledge of where information can be found
- Contribute to continual improvement by suggesting when appropriate changes to process and procedures
- Assist in the completion of paperwork for records and billing.

**Qualifications**:

- Clean drivers abstract and criminal background check
- Fluent in English (ability to speak, read and write English)
- Customer service experience
- Must be physically fit and able to perform the work involved and lift 50lbs
- Experience operating a vacuum truck an asset
