As a Day time **Live Haul Driver**, you will work **Day Shift**, transporting trailers to scheduled farms for Poultry to be caught that night, (occasional) fork lifting is required, washing the deck off and reloading if necessary. There are important documents you will be required to fill out before delivering trailers for evening catch. We also send drivers up country once in a while for pick-up year-round, some winter driving is required.

**Job Duties**
- **Transport Trailers** to Farms (all within a 160k radius)
- Use a Forklift to Load/Unload Truck (occasionally)
- Working day shift (Usually 7am to 4pm / 5 days a week)
- Strapping Loads
- Demonstrate safe operation of the truck and trailers in cramped spaces
- Backing up B-trains or straight trailer
- Electronic pre-trip/post trip inspections (160km radius from base only inspections required)

**Job Requirements**
- Have a Valid Class 1 License
- Manual License is required
- Provide clean drivers abstract; valid within the past 30 days
- Must be able to lift to 50lbs
- Mountain driving experience and winter driving (chaining up experience)
- Able to work with limited supervision
- MUST have Mechanical Aptitude
- Exceptional Interpersonal Skills
- MUST Be a TEAM Player
- Forklift experience
- Knowledge of Abbotsford and the Fraser valley an asset
