Our Development Services Division has a rewarding opportunity for a full-time Project Manager (Development Services) - and we are looking for a dynamic professional to join our team

We're seeking a motivated Project Manager - Development Services to lead impactful initiatives that support the growth and development of our City. In this key role, you'll manage a diverse portfolio of new, existing, and transformational projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to help shape the City's future.
**The Opportunity**
Under the supervision of the Director, as the Project Manager - Development Services you will be responsible to undertake and manage major Development Services projects and participate as a Division representative in major corporate projects. Other key responsibilities include project planning and management, oversight of consultants and preparing proposals and reports.

- Degree in business administration, public administration, political science, economics, engineering, architecture or a related field, together with a minimum of 5 years of related project management experience, change management and public consultation experience, preferably in a government setting; or
- Diploma in business administration, public administration, political science, economics, engineering, architecture or a related field, together with a minimum of 7 years of related project management, change management and public consultation experience, preferably in a government setting.
- Knowledge of municipal, provincial, and federal government operations and programs, federal and provincial funding programs
- Strong ability to deliver presentations to a variety of audiences and to skillfully handle on-the-spot questions from senior officials, members of City Council, special interest groups, and the media
- Ability to exercise independent judgement when dealing with confidential and sensitive issues
- Excellent project/time management, analytical/critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Proven acumen in business and financial management, with the ability to determine, analyse and understand financial implications of proposals and the ability to perform some cost calculations and respond accordingly
