Property Tax Summer Student
**Job Description**:
**Summer 2025 Work Term**
Term Length: 4 months
Term Start: May 5, 2025
Term End: August 22, 2025
- As of October 15, 2024 Loblaw has adopted the following Hybrid working model (a combination of working between the office and remotely). Colleagues will continue working remotely up to 1 day a week, while spending the other 4 days in the office (to be determined by each business unit)._
- Correspond with Landlords and Municipalities to set up financial and banking information to automate payment process and electronic tax and assessment information
- Scanning and uploading documents into an electronic filing system
- Prepare and issue form letters to Landlords, Property Assessment Consultants, and Tax Authorities
- Assist with tax bill payment processing through Tango
- Update property tax records
- Other various administrative duties as required
**Job Requirements**
- Able to learn in a quick-paced environment
- Experience using Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel
- Be able to work well individually and/or in groups
- Motivated; determined to pursue excellence, deliver on commitments, and aim towards success
- Must have good communication and mathematical skills
- Possess a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Able to multi-task and coordinate multiple projects
