We are currently hiring Class 1 Drivers for local work.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operating company equipment in a safe secure manner
- Pickup and deliver loads, move trailers if required
- Refuel and clean equipment if required
- Must be on the job on time as per schedule
- Complete the task on time given by dispatch or planning.
- Have training and mentoring opportunities.
- Working with experienced / senior drivers and dispatchers.
- Deliver dangerous goods with proper procedure and paperwork
- Maintain daily trip reports
- Conduct pre-trips, inspections for the trailers at yard
Qualifications:
- A valid Class 1 License
- A current clean driver abstract
- Driving experience for atleast 1 year (preferred)
- Criminal Background check with no Violations
- Have safety toed shoes
- Experience using technology for communication and travel such as GPS or smartphone
**Experience**:
- Commercial Driving : 1 year (preferred)
What we offer:
