Currently we are looking for **Crane Operators** for Projects in our **Nisku ModYard**

- Employee rate $42/hr and Sub-contractor rate $48.43

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate heavy equipment
- Capable & Safe operation of a 35T Tadano RT’s and a 15T carry deck
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment
- Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks; perform routine maintenance on equipment
- Secure special attachments to equipment
- Operate two-way radios and other communication equipment
- Load, handle and transport materials and heavy cargo safely according to relevant legislation
- Deliver material to destinations, unload materials and complete paperwork
- Perform daily safety and maintenance checks
- Report hazards to relevant authorities and Project Management
- Adhere to Phoenix Safety policies and procedure in regard to operating equipment
- Inspect working environment prior to operating equipment
- Managing and performing general house keeping and daily cleanup of work area
- Lead by example by demonstrating the importance of fostering a safety culture

**Requirements**:

- Successfully complete a pre-access drug and alcohol testing
- Physically capable of performing all required tasks of a labourer
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Valid Drivers License
- CSTS-09 or CSTS-20 / WHMIS 2015
- Previous experience in heavy equipment operator, equipment operator, operator, excavator operator, heavy duty mechanic, mechanic, construction, loader operator, mining
