Massilly North America has been manufacturing metal packaging (lids) for the food industry for over 25 years. We are looking to add a new Electrical Apprentice to our maintenance department.

**Our facility runs three shifts - must be able to work all three**
- Days ( 6:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m)
- Afternoons ( 2:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m)
- Nights ( 10:30 p.m. - 6:30 a.m)

**Your duties will include**:

- Performing preventative maintenance
- Troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing equipment
- Installing, inspecting, adjusting and maintaining manufacturing equipment
- Interpreting/using electrical drawings, plant layouts, machine wiring diagrams, and equipment specs
- Maintaining machine shop/maintenance records

**Qualifications**:

- Registered apprentice currently in 2nd year of apprenticeship (309A or 442A) preferred
- Proficient in academic and practical knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code
- Working knowledge of operating characteristics of electrical and electronic controls and sensing devices used on automated equipment
- Basic English (verbal & written)
- PLC programming experience in software systems (e.g. Omron and AB)
- Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with all personnel
