Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with the loading and unloading of structural steel materials and products using forklifts, cranes, or other equipment.
- Manage the receipt, inspection, and storage of incoming materials.
- Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring that all items are properly packed, labeled, and documented.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular cycle counts.
- Organize and maintain the yard to ensure materials are easily accessible and stored safely.
- Collaborate with the supply chain and production teams to ensure timely delivery of materials to fabrication areas.
- Operate material handling equipment (forklifts, cranes, etc.) in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform routine yard maintenance to ensure a clean and safe work environment.
- Assist with other tasks as needed, including minor equipment repairs and general labor.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a structural steel yard or similar environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of shipping, receiving, and inventory control processes.
- Experience operating forklifts, cranes, or other heavy equipment (certification is a plus).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and lift heavy materials.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols in a yard or warehouse setting.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and data entry.
- Valid driver’s license required.

- Weekends as needed
