JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate various hand and power tools; including drills, skid steers and other tools as directed by the superintendent.
- Assist operator's to load construction materials from trucks both manually and with the use of equipment.
- Execute daily work instructions received from the Superintendent in a timely manner.
- Transport equipment and materials from facility to job site.
- Participate in daily safety meetings and fill out safety forms (i.e.: hazard assessments).
- Maintain a clean work site by handling materials and storing them properly, picking up and removing all tools and equipment when not in use and securing the job site on a daily basis.
- Follow all safety procedures on the job site and report violations immediately to management.
- Report incidents immediately to site superintendent, foremen and management in accordance with incident reporting procedures established by the company.
- Work effectively to meet or exceed productivity goals while maintaining high quality standards.
- Travel out of town to work on remote job sites as directed by management.

JOB SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Required:

- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving record
- Previous experience working on construction sites
- Ability to travel out of town during the week or on weekends
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Ability to stand for hours on end
- Ability to perform a variety of physical tasks
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision in a team and safety-focused environment;
- Ability and willingness to work on an on-call basis.
- Understanding of and willingness to abide by all safety protocols

Preferred but not required:

- High school education or equivalent
- CSTS Certificate (Construction Safety Training Systems) - Can provide online training
- WHIMIS - Can provide online training
