**The Position**:
We are looking for an **Ice Technician & Curling Administrator** who will provide Donalda with a top-notch ice surface and ensure the membership receive exceptional member service.

**Ice Technician Duties**
- Work alongside the Head Ice Technician with daily ice maintenance (scraping, pebbling, nipping and general cleaning) including preparation and installation of the ice surface starting mid-September and finishing in time for our opening in early October.
- Meet regularly with the Head Ice Technician & Assistant Curling Manager to review the schedule and to discuss any issues that may have arisen. Assist with preparing the ice for in club bonspiels and OCA, TCA events as required.
- Assist with the system shut down and removal of the ice surface at seasons end.
- Assist with ensuring that the ice is ready on time for all draws and practice as required.
- Continuously monitors the arena’s temperature and humidity to ensure it is the right temperature to maintain the ice in the arena. Keep up to date logs on equipment operation, ice temps, humidity etc.

**Curling Administrator Duties**
- Monitors and keeps Curling website current, keeps curling information up to date.
- Assists with registrations and keeps data base clean, liaison with Accounting on Jonas data base.
- Assist in development of league, team and schedule information.
- Maintains the practice ice schedule
- Participate in planning and running leagues, bonspiels and special events including curling lounge set up.
- Assists with monthly articles for Club newsletter.

**CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS**:

- Level 1 Ice Technician certificate is an asset
- Curling administration and Microsoft Excel experience is an asset
- CPR and First Aid Certificate required

**Starting from**: $40,000.00 annually. Compensation is based on experience and qualifications.
