Daytime Baker

Danish Pastry House is seeking a dynamic and talented _**Daytime Baker **_for their production facility on the Mississauga/Oakville border.

**Responsibilities**:

- Preparation of a variety of desserts, pastries and other baked goods for bakery cafes
- Follow company health and safety policies and processes
- Must maintain food quality and hygiene standards

Skills and Experience
- Minimum 2 year’s experience scratch baking in a professional bakery is an asset
- 2 years professional baking is an asset
- 2 years food handling is an asset
- 2 years scratch baking is an asset
- Energetic with a positive work ethic
- Able to multi-task
- Reliable and able to work independently with confidence
- Able to work as a team under the Department Manager
- Must be able to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skill
- Able to read instructions and follow directions in English
- Strong organizational skills and time management skills
- Must be accountable for the quality and standard of products produced
- Able to pay attention to detail
- First Aid, WHMIS, Occupational Health and Safety familiarity
- Food handling certification

**Salary**: $19.00-$24.00 per hour
