**Position Overview**:
As a Machinist at Columbia Industries, you will be responsible for operating manual machines to fabricate, repair, and modify hydraulic cylinder components. You will work closely with our team to ensure parts meet exact specifications and quality standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate **manual lathes, mills, and other machining equipment** to produce and repair hydraulic cylinder components.
- Perform **honing, polishing, and chroming** processes to ensure high-quality finishes.
- Read and interpret **technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications** to determine machining requirements.
- Measure and inspect finished components to ensure they meet **precise tolerances and quality standards**.
- Perform **basic maintenance and troubleshooting** of machining equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to **safety procedures**.

**Qualifications**:

- **Journeyman or Apprentice Machinist Certification** (or equivalent experience in manual machining).
- Experience working with **hydraulic components** is an asset.
- Ability to work with **tight tolerances and high-precision measurements**.
- Strong understanding of **metals, machining techniques, and finishing processes**.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic set of hand tools (specialty tools provided by the company).

**Work Schedule**:

- **Full-time position** (Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts).
- **Overtime opportunities available** based on workload.
- **Indoor, shop-based role** (no fieldwork required).

**Compensation & Benefits**:

Pay: $35.00-$46.00 per hour
