We are recruiting a vibrant Sales and Marketing Associate to join our team. This position will require strong interpersonal skills, the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment and practiced customer etiquette. Our intention with this position is to evolve the role into a key holder and/or management support position. We encourage experienced working professionals to apply. This part time role offers a 26-30 hour week and includes some Saturday shifts. The successful applicant will be assisting customers with retail purchases, learning about fine jewellery and repairs, as well as supporting the overall daily operations of the store.

**Duties**
- Assist customers with purchase and repair inquiries
- Provide warm, knowledgeable and personalized service
- Maintain a tidy and inviting store environment
- Learn and retain product knowledge to confidently assist clients
- Answer phone calls and manage customer follow ups
- Process sales accurately using our point of sale system
- Support engraving services by learning basic software and tools
- Support with administrative tasks such as social media content creation, creating policy and procedure, as well as light bookkeeping and data entry.

Prior retail or jewellery experience is preferred, though not required. We will provide on the job training for this role.

**Qualifications**
- A quick learner with a positive, can-do attitude
- Strong computer skills and comfort using point of sale systems
- Excellent communication skills - both in person and on the phone
- Dependable and punctual
- showing up on time every day is essential
- Organized, detail oriented, and able to multi task
- Willingness to learn about jewellery, jewellery repairs, and engraving processes
- Open to learning basic tools and computer software
- Experience with social media photo and video creation is an asset

**Salary**: Starting from $19/hour. Wage will commensurate with experience and qualifications. Employees also receive an annual bonus and store discounts.
