Service Technician/back-up Delivery Driver

The Service Technician/Back-up Delivery Driver contributes to the success of MBA Distributors by servicing the restaurants that rely on the quality of Pepsi, and its equipment. All training will be done in house, but may require some out of town training. You will also hold your class 1 driver license and be available to help deliver Pepsi products from time to time. Service Technician/Back-up Delivery Drivers will enjoy three day weekends, as a work/life balance is valued at MBA Distributors

As the Pepsi Distributor for the region we take care of all Pepsico beverage brands including, Starbucks, Gatorade, Dole, Rockstar, Lipton, Bubbly, Montellier, and numerous other brands.

Our customers include convenience stores, gas stations, supermarkets, restaurants, and drug stores throughout Northwestern B.C.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Troubleshoot and repair Pepsico equipment including bar guns, fountain machines, vending machines and coolers
- Operate a Class 1 vehicle in a safe and responsible manner, as a representative of MBA Distributors
- Maximize sales through active communication with clients to identify unmet needs and growth potential
- Deliver product to scheduled customers within established routes in an efficient and professional manner.
- Load and unload truck with the product while adhering to all safety regulations
- Stock and rotate products on various store shelves, coolers, and displays.
- Merchandise all accounts to company standard
- Complete fully and accurately all necessary paperwork in compliance with company procedures, and government regulations
- Perform safety inspections on truck and equipment to company safety standards
- Establish positive working relationships with primary contact at each account
- Perform all assigned duties in a safe and productive manner
- Follow the direction of the Sales and Delivery Supervisor

**Qualifications/Required Experience, Skills and Abilities**
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED required
- Must have a valid Class 1 Driver’s License in good standing with a safe driving record
- Previous Class 1 driving experience is an asset
- Ability to drive manual transmission
- Must be able to lift/carry 45-50 lbs. frequently in a safe manner for up to ten hours a day
- Must be able to push/pull 50-250 lbs. frequently in a safe manner for up to ten hours a day
- Must be able to perform frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and squatting
- Must be able to perform frequent reaching over the shoulder, waist level, and from the floor
- Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work under mínimal supervision
- Strong customer service skills and neat appearance are required
- Flexibility to work extended hours and overtime as required is preferred
- Ability to use a dolly and/ or power jack to deliver the product to customers
