**Job Purpose**:

- Reporting to the Manager, Gaming Centre, the Gaming Centre Attendant provides exceptional customer service to all Gaming Centre patrons. This position is responsible for providing assistance and instructions to players, verifying wins, paying out jackpots, exchanging currency, prize payouts and processing and updating data in the club card system.

**Responsibilities**:

- Sell, exchange and/or redeem all Gaming Centre products according to all applicable procedures.
- Prepare for adds/decreases of cash/cash equivalents, verify amounts and sign.
- Identify and process STRs (Suspicious Transaction Reports) and LCT (Large Cash Transaction) reports. Notify appropriate individuals as required.
- Respond to and pay out jackpots in accordance with procedures.
- Participate in the pull and count.
- Maintain club card database through processing of amendments to personal information on club card memberships.
- Perform Cashier functions.
- Encourage a climate that supports diversity.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**Primary Qualifications**:

- Excellent mathematical skills.
- Six months experience in customer service and cash handling.
- The key accountabilities for this position include adapting to new changing conditions in a positive manner, communicating and working respectfully with co-workers, consistently delivering excellence in customer service, demonstrating appropriate job knowledge, following direction from leadership on assigned tasks, following established Safe Work policies and practices, following Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries’ policies and procedures, meeting the established attendance expectations, meeting the productivity performance expectations and taking accountability for actions.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts based on the requirements of a 24 hour per day, seven day per week operation.

**Secondary Qualifications**:

- Bilingual (French/English) language skills.
- Completion of a Grade 12 High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- **Testing may form part of the screening/selection process. Employment Equity will be a factor in the recruitment process. Circumstances may arise where the bulletin may need to be withdrawn or the number of positions may need to be increased depending on the Collective Agreement._

**Vacation**
- Accrue up to 10 paid vacation days per year during the first 2 years of employment.
