**What can I expect if hired as a Pest Control Technician?**
- Service Halifax and surrounding areas, plus provincial travel as needed
- Mainly Monday to Friday 8:00 - 5:00, with some evenings and weekends
- Managing a monthly commercial and residential route
- Servicing and onboarding new customers as needed
- Helping to acquire new commercial customers
- Invoicing and a small amount of paperwork
- Keeping your company truck clean and organized

**Do I qualify?**
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record
- Criminal record check required
- High School (or equivalent)
- Work well on your own
- Work well with a team
- Sales experience is an asset (not required but willing to learn)
- Good with people; customer service experience
- Able to climb a ladder and carry a minimum of 40 lbs.

**Anything else I should know?**
- Within 30 days of the job offer, you’ll be scheduled to write the Provincial Pesticide Applicator’s exam and will be required to study on your own time.
