**Role Overview**
Polaron Energy Corp. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Collection Specialist to join our growing finance and legal team. In this role, you will play a key part in managing customer accounts and ensuring timely collections of outstanding receivables. Your efforts will directly support the financial strength and operational stability of our organization.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Monitor and manage accounts receivable, identifying overdue accounts and initiating follow-up.
- Negotiate and document payment plans when necessary, ensuring compliance with internal policies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer communications and payment agreements in company systems.
- Collaborate with the finance team to resolve discrepancies and disputes in customer accounts.
- Generate regular reports on account status, aging, and collection activity for management.
- Assist in developing and refining collection strategies to reduce delinquencies and improve cash flow.
- Prepare financial instruments or legal documentation to secure outstanding debt.
- Liaise with external collection agencies when internal efforts are exhausted.

**Required Qualifications**
- Minimum 1 year of experience in collections, accounts receivable, or a related finance function.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and financial practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive interactions professionally.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience using accounting or ERP software (e.g., QuickBooks) and CRM platforms.
- Familiarity with debt collection regulations, credit risk management, and industry best practices.
- Prior experience in a team-based, fast-paced office environment.

**Technical Skills**
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Competence in financial systems for tracking, data entry, and reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts while maintaining high accuracy and attention to detail.
