**Summary of Position**:
As a key member of the Acura West team, the Automotive Apprentice brings to life the Automotive Service Experience for the Customer. Reporting to the Service Manager, this Apprentice position is responsible for the following:

- Diagnosing and repairing problems relating to mechanical, electrical and hydraulic components, working closely with a certified mechanic.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines with attention to detail.
- Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisors and Service Manager for any additional service work that is needed.
- Perform road tests
- Complete all required courses and stay current as per Acura Concierge requirements.

- Your greatest assets will be your attitude and desire to learn. Bring these and you're on your way
- Strong product knowledge - Any Acura/Honda experience would be an asset
- Strong aptitude of technical/mechanical repairs
- Organizational ability and attention to detail
- Registered with the ministry of training and colleges
- Valid G Driver's License for Ontario with a clean driver’s abstract
- Ability to work independently or within a team
- Adaptable to work evening and weekend shifts as scheduled
- Must have own tools

**Education Required**
- Grade 12 High School Diploma
