The incumbent will coordinate and provide ongoing leadership of the project, and manage all project phases by setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, managing Research Ethics Board approvals and reporting, basic analysis of research data, and preparation of manuscripts and other KTE materials. The incumbent will engage various stakeholders, ensure project support and sponsorship, and provide leadership and direction to the project team.**Qualifications** **Education**: - Undergraduate Degree in relevant discipline; Master’s Degree in epidemiology, clinical research or similar field preferred **Experience**: - 2 years' work experience in a related field - Conversational French (oral and reading) - 2 years’ experience with quantitative patient-focused research, preferably in a clinical environment - 2 years’ experience with database management, data cleaning and coding, and statistical analysis using a major software program (SAS, STATA or R) - Project management experience - Conversational French (oral and reading) - General experience with trans issues/communities and gender diversity, non-binary gender identities, and the affirming model of care for gender independent children and youth preferred - Experience working with youth/families in a clinical setting is preferred - Academic knowledge of developmental psychology, endocrinology, intersectionality, family systems, social marginalization, strengths-based approaches, or other areas related to the research focus is preferred **Skills, Abilities & Expertise**: - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively correspond with all research personnel and stakeholders (e.g., co-investigators, collaborators, community members) - Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate in French both verbally and written - Proven planning and time management skills, with ability to multi-task, produce and coordinate projects within tight deadlines - Ability to use tact and diplomacy with all sensitive issues and special situations - Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects - Database management skills - Demonstrated experience of data analysis skills using SAS, STATA or R - Demonstrated skills in literature searching and preparation and writing of research results - Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently and with a strong sense of accountability - Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage research personnel and resolve issues when the Project Academic Lead is unavailable - Self-driven, independent critical thinker who is highly motivated and skilled at anticipating and resolving stakeholder relation issues **Why Western?**: Consideration of applicants will include an assessment of previous performance, experience, and qualifications.
