**Job Description Overview**:
We are seeking a passionate Sushi Chef Helper to join our team. As a Sushi Chef Helper, you will play an Important role in supporting the sushi bar operations, assisting the chefs with preparation tasks.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist the sushi chefs with the preparation of ingredients for sushi.
- Prepare and cook sushi rice, ensuring the perfect consistency and temperature.
- Roll sushi and cut rolls according to the restaurant's standards.
- Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi bar.
- Perform basic duties such as sanitizing surfaces, and restocking supplies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the timely and high-quality preparation of sushi dishes.
- Ensure that food safety and hygiene standards are always followed.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $15.50 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Food Handler Certification (preferred)
- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)

Work Location: In person
