St John's, Canada CAPITAL HYUNDAI Full time

Capital Hyundai is hiring Auto Detailers. The primary function of the position is to clean automobiles and maintain the Washbay to Capital Hyundai standards. Will also assist and support with routine housekeeping and maintenance of the Washbay, building perimeter, and surrounding lot.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Washing and cleaning the exterior as well as vacuuming the interior of shuttle and returned service vehicles.
- Care and maintenance of Washbay area and perimeter, including garbage removal, salt and shoveling, and an end of day lot check.
- Move vehicles into wash stations or to designated areas on the lot as required.
- Maintain cleanliness of all vehicles, including the dusting of showroom vehicles.
- Consult with the Sales and Service departments on deliveries and daily SPAs.
- Reporting any new damages to supervisor.
- Weekly clean and tidy tool room area as well as the technician bays once they have left for the day.
- Ensures safety policies, standards, and procedures are followed to achieve a safe work environment and safety for all staff, customers, and vendors.
- Other duties as assigned and as may be amended from time to time to meet company objectives.

**Working Conditions**: Environment is an automotive site which can result in conducting tasks outdoors in all types of weather conditions.

**Requirements**:

- Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner.
- Works well in team environment.
- Observes safety and security procedures and reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and material properly.
- Excellent attendance is a must and consistently arrives to work on time.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to lift up to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis.
- Ability to work on his/her feet for extended periods.

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Grade 12 preferred, will consider skills and competences of past experiences.
- 1+ years’ experience in the automotive industry or shop labourer experience is an asset.
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License with a Drivers Abstract is required.
- Certificate of Conduct required.
