**About the Role**:
eHealth Saskatchewan is seeking a results and detail-oriented individual with strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills. Working under the direction of the Primary Health Care Services Manager, the position is responsible for the daily support, maintenance, error resolution and coordination of data in the EMR systems.
This position will be responsible to identify data quality issues within EMR services, utilizing various techniques to resolve data quality issues within the core systems, i.e. duplicate records, merging records, etc. The position will seek input and collaborate using consensus driven decision making with other end users of the data within eHS and externally to the organization. The position will utilize communication and change management techniques to recommend, create, and support changes to the business such as business process changes, issue identification and resolution, data remediation activities to prevent future data quality errors, monitoring and reporting registry errors identified.
You will be involved in developing best practices and standards, data quality and remediation and business services such as requirement gathering, documentation, implementation, testing, training, incident management and support.
**To qualify for this position, you will have knowledge and/or experience in the following**:
- Information management, information collection systems and processes, data quality practices, etc.
- Providing excellent customer service through strong interpersonal skills.

- Working in a fast-paced environment and meeting tight deadlines.
- Understanding when to escalate issues.
- Providing recommendations for complex issues to management with supporting rationale based on research and analysis.

- Gathering, understanding and synthesizing specialized data in a way that can be applied to meet the needs of the organization and customer information needs within given constraints.
The knowledge and skills required for this position would be attained through a Certificate in Health Information Management or Health Informatics Management, plus 1 year experience working in a similar role. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
