**Position Statement**:
Responsible for managing all front desk operations. Leadership and Service Excellence is a core expectation. Through your leadership, you are responsible for driving financial success by providing our team members a great welcoming place to work and grow, while providing our guests an exceptional hospitality experience. This position also serves as Manager-On-Duty and oversees property operations for Focused Service hotel.

**Position Summary**:
35% - Manages Front Desk Operations
- Responsible for front desk, switchboard, reservations, retail and breakfast operation (including hiring, scheduling, inventories, training, counseling and discipline).
- Produces various financial reports accurately and on a timely basis.
- Works with front desk agents on daily functions during check-ins and check-outs.

30% - Management
- Acts as Manager-On-Duty for the hotel ensuring effective interdepartmental operations and resolution of guest complaints.

20% - Property Operations
- Oversees the general operations of the department.
- Inspects the hotel to ensure all furniture, fixtures and equipment are in proper working condition, departmental supplies are stocked at the proper level, and preventative maintenance programs are in place.

10% - Human Resources
- Manages Human Resources functions including recruiting, selection, orientation, training, performance planning and evaluations, and pay and reward programs.

5% - Administration
- Administration of personnel files, including monitoring payroll, vacation requests and assists in monitoring distribution of sales payouts.

**Specific Job Knowledge, Skill and Ability**

The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job:

- Superlative guest care skills.
- Thorough knowledge of all guest services and other department operations.
- Ability to train front office staff in financial control procedures, inventories and receivables, arrival and departure procedures, switchboard operations, and property amenities.
- Ability to train staff in areas of customer satisfaction and safety.
- Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills required.

**Supporting Functions**:
In addition to the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by management based upon the particular requirements of the company:

- Ensures Guest Services has the proper information and equipment to complete department functions.
- Prioritize and organize all projects that pertain to improving Guest Services functions.
- Responsible for maintaining proper organization of the Guest Services, Food and Beverage and Retail spaces.
- Responsible for compliance with all local health and safety codes.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
