As the **Product Manager** you will be responsible for leveraging product management cycles, commercial aptitude, and industry experience across locomotive solutions with a high degree of empowerment to build dynamic and customer centric offerings.

**Responsibilities** **include but are not limited to**:

- Grow and maintain comprehensive **market knowledge**on locomotive technology and technology progression to** build strong competitive analysis** on the industry's best practices and competitors; and to understand the impacts on locomotive performance.
- Driving** product strategy** in alignment with the overall company vision and goals through market research, analyzing customer needs, and identifying market opportunities to define the product roadmap.
- Develop a **product roadmap** that outlines the product's features, enhancements, and delivery timelines. Prioritizing features based on customer and business value, collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring the product roadmap aligns with the company's strategic objectives.
- Working closely with stakeholders, customers, and internal teams to **gather and document product requirements.** This includes defining user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria to clearly communicate the product's functionality and features.
- Collaborating with various teams such as engineering, design, marketing, and sales to ensure successful product development and launch. This involves **coordinating efforts, facilitating communication,** and resolving any conflicts or issues that may arise.
- Overseeing the **product development process,** ensuring that the product is built according to specifications, and managing the product lifecycle. Conducting product reviews, tracking progress, and making adjustments as necessary.
- Developing and executing a comprehensive **go-to-market strategy** for new product releases. Creating marketing plans, pricing strategies, and promotional activities to drive product adoption and sales.
- **Monitoring the performance** and success of the product in the market. Analyzing product metrics, user feedback, and market trends to identify areas for improvement and optimize the product's performance.
- **Building and maintaining strong relationships** with customers to gather feedback, understand their needs, and ensure customer satisfaction. Conducting customer interviews, organizing user feedback sessions, and addressing customer concerns.

**Who you are**:

- 3+ years of relevant product management experience, preferably with products relating to hardware, locomotive control and/ or monitoring systems
- Bachelor's Degree in a Electrical, Mechatronics or related fields
- Proven experience in successfully carrying products through concept to launch in the entire product life cycle
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Collaborative, and a knack for working with cross functional teams
- Adaptable, expert in time management and organizational skills
- Passionate about technology and continuous learning
- Ability to travel internationally
- Previous experience in the locomotive industry would be considered an asset
