**Sealy Construction Ltd**. has an immediate opening for an **experienced Framer** in Calgary, Alberta.

Sealy Construction Ltd. provides framing & structural repair services, commercial & home renovations, and full scale general contracting services to our residential and commercial clients who trust in the quality of our work and our customer-service.

The **Framer** performs hands-on tasks related to renovations and can execute and coordinate construction work on various job sites as needed. The person in this position has a solid background, skills and experience across multiple trades and construction techniques, a strong ability to deliver exceptional customer service and the ability to work independently without direct supervision.

**Responsibilities**:

- Framing, structural changes and repairs
- Renovations, repairs and improvements for both residential and commercial clients
- Windows/doors installations
- Light millwork, carpentry repairs
- Decks & fences.
- Full home demo and selective demo.
- Other misc. general construction or labour tasks as required.

**Qualifications**:

- 5+ years of experience in **framing**, renovations, home building, general carpentry.
- Relevant trade certificate or schooling considered an asset.

**Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:

- Ability to read drawings/blueprints and schedules as required.
- Great communication skills - written and verbal.
- Great troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, active listener and critical thinker.
- Highly safety-oriented, must comply with health & safety standards.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure, to stay focused and organized.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Vehicle required: truck considered an asset.
- Must be confident using smartphone, apps, computer, etc.
