**Annual Salary: $56,951.5 - $71,219.85**

Under the direct supervision of the Manager, Housing & Long Term Care Community Support Programs, the Client Counsellor will provide tenant-focused support services and/or comprehensive, flexible interventions to clients of Sister Leila Greco Apartments.

**Qualifications**:
**Education / Experience**:

- A degree or diploma in one of the social sciences
- Two (2) years experience working with the elderly within a community care environment
- Knowledge and experience with gerontology, Alzheimer Disease and related dementias

**Skills/Abilities**:

- Ability to communicate effectively and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Strong facilitation skills along with the ability to deliver presentations information to a variety of audiences
- Ability to establish rapport with others and to maintain effective working relationships with superiors, co-workers, and customers
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to identify, understand, and meet the requirements of internal and external customers
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

**CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT**:

- Must maintain membership in the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers

This position shall be conditional upon a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) where indicated, to ensure the absence of relevant criminal convictions.
