Looking for an experienced Construction Operations Manager with a focus on heavy civil and Environmental earthwork projects with 10+ years relevant experience. A analytical and problem solver who is capable of overseeing multiple projects and staff.

**Key Requirements**:
Manage Civil, Environmental, Landscape and infrastructure projects.

Experience working on municipal, provincial and federal projects

Work closely with the President to ensure requirements are met

Develop budgets based on construction estimates.

Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers at the start of the project.

Read and understand contract drawings, specifications, addenda and geotechnical reports

Able to use computer programs such as Microsoft Excel, Word, Project and Outlook

Thorough understanding and ability to provide layout for crew and subcontractors using GPS and laser levels.

Prepare and monitor construction schedules.

Manage subcontractors, suppliers and rental equipment to ensure seamless flow of work.

Maintain, track and price change orders.

Visit projects regularly, attend project meetings and prepare meeting minutes.

Advise management of any issues involving changes to profit, costs, schedules and safety.

Ensure all staff and subcontractors are maintaining a high level of site and personal safety.

**Additional requirements that may be required**:
Assist in estimating, take offs, tender meetings and contacting trades and suppliers for tender pricing.

Assist in maintenance and management of company owned equipment and tools.

Assist in hiring of key field and office staff for project success.

University or College education in Engineering or Project Management an asset.

**Summary**

As a Construction Project Manager, you will oversee and coordinate all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Reporting to senior management, you will utilize your core skills in project management and construction to lead teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders. Your premium skills in blueprint reading, SiteDocs, Microsoft Office, Project and construction estimating will be essential in planning and executing project phases. Additionally, your relevant skills in construction management software and time management will support the successful delivery of high-quality results, contributing to the organization's growth and reputation.

Pay: From $100,000.00 per year
