J.J. MacKay Canada Limited (MacKay Meters) is seeking to fill 3-4 positions in **Production / Assembly.** These are full time, hourly positions (40 hrs/week) at our corporate headquarters in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, Canada.

The Production / Assembly person is responsible to ensure that all orders are completed as specified by the quality instructions.

**PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Understand and follow all quality work instructions.
- Meet order requirements with safety, quality and production in mind.
- Complete special projects as assigned by your supervisor.
- Other duties and responsibilities as required.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
**Education**:

- High School Diploma or equivalent.

**Skills**:

- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Mechanically inclined.
- Computer literacy would be considered an asset.

**Experience**:

- 2-5 years assembly line experience considered an asset.

**WORKING CONDITIONS**:

- Available to work shifts, if required.
- Manual lifting of objects of various weights up to 50 lbs.
- Diverse working group.

**WAGES AND GROUP BENEFITS**:

- Wage will be commensurate with experience and ability.
