**Brand Editor, Garage**

**Job Summary**:
You will be involved in our ongoing transformation from a traditional brick & mortar retailer, to an omni-channel leader and tech-first fashion disruptor.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop seasonal/monthly storylines that honor overarching brand narrative;
- Ensure storylines support key products and fashion trends while being culturally relevant to the brand’s Gen Z audience;
- Build the editorial calendar in partnership with the Brand team;
- Build content briefs and asset needs prior to photoshoots;
- Collaborate with social media leads to develop concepts and briefs;
- Oversee the creation of high-quality content, coordinating the efforts of cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive campaign/storyline that reflects the brand’s visual aesthetic, tone of voice, and identity;
- Develop or adapt existing editorial processes that will respect production deadlines and campaign launch dates;
- Maintain a pulse on fashion trends, pop culture, consumer behavior and the competitive landscape.

**Qualifications**:

- University degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing or related field;
- 3-5 years of related work experience;
- Experience with copywriting, editing, styling, or fashion merchandising an asset;
- Passion for fashion and pop culture;
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; intermediate understanding of written and verbal communication in French an asset;
- Well established business sense;
- Excellent organizational and project management skills;
- Ability to prioritize, adapt and meet fast turnaround deadlines;
- Proven collaborative team player.
