Dog Groomer

- Located next door to North Oakville Animal Hospital (NOAH), The Ark Pet Spaw & Emporium is Oakville's premier dog groomer and pet accessory provider. Our goal is to help pet parents provide the best possible quality of life for their four-legged family members by taking excellent care of their coat and spoiling them with vet approved products Our grooming services range from individual treatments to complete spaw packages, all done in our relaxing and intimate environment. _

**About the Role**

Our experienced full-time pet stylist will have the necessary skills for this position.
- We're looking for an experienced groomer (1-2 years minimum) who can handle the fast-paced nature of our salon while maintaining attention to detail.
- While grooming certification with hands-on instruction is preferred, we welcome self-taught groomers with extensive experience.
- Having the ability to perform breed standard trims and Hand scissoring skills is an asset. Having the ability to ideally groom 4-7 pets a day.
- Excellent communication skills are a must, as you'll be interacting with both our dedicated staff and our beloved clients.
- An absolute dedication to client satisfaction and pet comfort a must.

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

- Reception tasks such as: checking clients in, billing them appropriately and cashing them at the end of the groom.
- Booking grooming sessions.
- Client consultations.
- Full grooming sessions (including bathing and drying)
- Capturing adorable pet photos for our Social Media
- Keeping our grooming space spick and span.
- Daily balancing

Pay: $750.00-$1,750.00 per week
