**Job Types**: Full-time

Benefit : Available after 6 months

In office building environment.
- Ensure all day workers show up for their shift and take corrective action as required.
- Ensure staff comply with attendance and uniform policies and mentor staff as required.
- Observe cleaning personnel on a regular basis and provide training on cleaning best practices and techniques.
- Provide emergency support to staff in the event of illness, vacation, or personal leave.
- Perform an initial inspection of the facility to ensure that any inadvertently forgotten materials or deviations from the previous nightgown are corrected.
- Respond to work requested on pages by facility management or security and/or delegate this work.
- Monitor and clean-up between meetings within meeting rooms as required.
- Monitor major building entrances and clean as required to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain constant monitoring of hallways, lobbies, elevators, stairways, and other areas to ensure cleaning meets standards.
- Dispose of garbage cans, recyclable containers and ashtrays throughout the building and carry other waste to disposal areas.
- Dust and polish furniture and equipment if required.
- Sweep/clean floors in accordance with security procedures.
- Check the entire property for spills or water for immediate cleanup.
- Monitor washrooms for high level of cleanliness.
- Respond to major spills and other cleanup emergencies
- Know how to use scrubber and carpet cleaner (training may be provided as needed).
- Other duties as required by management.

**Salary**: $18.50-$18.75 per hour
